Mike Campbell is awsome man. And noone seems to know it.

I met him in a pub in Bethnal Green, London in 1965 ... "assisted" him when he headlined the first John Lee Hooker Memorial Concert at the Filmore circa 2002 ... took xrays from Seattle to Vancouver BC when one of his Splinters got sick , and just before they went to Japan ... have loved him a long, long time.

I met him at Wilbur's in Cleveland in 1998 during the opening night of the Splinter Group's first U.S. tour.

Sounds like a coincidence to me. I've more than "met" Peter Green. Possibly you exaggerate your connection?

I've met Mick Fleetwood, Peter Green, and Bekka Bramlett, and am VERY familiar with the band's history. "Oh Well" was played more in concert by Fleetwood Mac after Peter Green quit than when he was in the band. I can't imagine the number of times it was played between 75-90. Regardless of their history, it's a FLEETWOOD MAC song, and Stevie was a singer in that band, who just so happened to be touring with Tom Petty when he decided to do this. Hardly a coincidence, IMO.

Odd that they'd do this the one time Stevie Nicks was touring with them...

cool...Tom and Mike were/ are destined to be part of each other's lives in this lifetime and probablythe next!! ;)
TFS!!

I love Mike Campell.Best guitarist ever.

At the time of this composition, she had nothing to do with either Fleetwood Mac or this song. Peter Green hand selected his rthymn section, that's how the name (Mick) Fleetwood (John) Mac for McVie came into existence. Stevie Nicks would have to wait for a different era in the transformation of the band.
