I was LED sceptical until I saw this video! That is impressive! Thanks for your videos.

what kind of nutrients are you using for growing the broccoli bro?
-
@w8mk right on! we have a set of 90watts also. looking forward to seeing more videos!

Actual cost in electricity was a bit over 11.00 for 60 days. This provided me with 4 very large broccoli plants.

This is true. My actual intention here was to test out LEDs and the cost of growing it didn't matter to me.

do you recomend LEDs?
jean9910 1 week ago
@jean9910
Yes I do. You have to buy from a reputable company though as a lot of ebay lights are cheap ones that lack lumens. LEDs can give anywhere from 20lumens/w all the way up to over 200lumen/w. Good companies will use proper spectrums with about 80lumens/w. I learned the hard way. I like LEDs for home use as they barely heat up unlike HPS and Metal Halide lamps. HPS/MH lamps can cause fires, use more electricity, have to replace bulbs every 8 months, and cause heat issues.

Can i do this with red peppers?
thughands 1 week ago
@thughands
Yes you can. I will be posting a Gypsy pepper comparison grow done with 4 separate LED lights. Gypsy peppers are taste and almost look like Bell peppers, I prefer growing them over bell peppers as they produce at least 2 to 3 times more flowers and fruit than bell peppers. I was very pleased with the LED pepper grow.

are those ufo led?
nazilampshade 1 month ago
@nazilampshade
Yes they are LED ufo's. There are a lot better LEDs out there now. I will be posting some new videos soon of 1w led chips vs 3w chips. The performance of the 3w chips shocked me when compared to the 1w.
