I'm still in my Irish period, so here we go with another instrumental!
The Star of the County Down is a popular Irish ballad about a man who sees a beautiful woman in Banbridge, Northern Ireland.
The transcription is from Dan C. Holloway (http://www.dancholloway.com/) who does a fantastic job at transcribing pretty cool music for guitar.
As usual, the guitar is a McPherson MG 4.5 (Redwood / Macassar Ebony) and is recorded in GarageBand through an Apogee Duet.
Hope you like it!
Take care,
Rehouven
P.S: for a strange and unknown reason, the sound seems to be slightly de-synchronized from the video.... sorry for that :-)
Very nice! I like this approach to "Star." One of my favority Irish traditional songs.

i NEED to know how to do that because i just love playing the guitar. i am not that insanely good, like i cant just look at the notes and know what to do but after figuring out the notes i am pretty awesome to my standards because i am in grade 7 and i take a music class for acoustic guitar so if there is anyway u can send me notes or something that would be most appreciated
