THIS MAN PLAYS MELODIES. You can pretty much sing his solos from top to end.
3:40 - 4:40: what's that!?? MELODIES, MELODIES, MELODIES. Amazing melodies.
What about his comping from 5:50 - 6:10...Awesome stuff!!!
I've been listening to KJ Trio for decades now...They never cease to amaze me.
And this concert was one of the best ever. All pieces are mind blowing.

Someone probably disliked the fun he's having while playing, i.e. the humming, dancing, grimaces, etc. You should be able to see beyond these superficialities to truly appreciate his genius. These were never a turn off for me, quite the contrary, they make him more interesting. You can see how much he loves what he's doing.
