I don't mean to be mean or something, but whats the point of this? I don't get why youd want a kill switch. So what if he pulls you over? Its not like these are illegal.

@proct0r That is correct. The ones that will care that you have a detector are the ones that will more than likely follow to harass you. They don't like to see the speed on their gun start above the limit, and lock below the limit because your standing on your brakes and decelerating quickly.

wait, why would you do this? Not being an ass or anything but can a cop even do anything about a radar detector?

Paranoid that the cop will follow you and eventually pull you over to check things out and ask you questions. I've had cops follow me for miles where I couldn't reach up and turn it off.

I did it after a cop followed me for miles and I didn't want to reach up and turn it off and make it look obvious. It was just blinking and going crazy with him behind me.

wow how did u do that? was there some kind of kit you bought online with instructions?
How hard was it, do u gotta be electrically inclined?

It's not hard. Just wire up the RD to the switch, mount it. Does require some small soldering skills though. Though you could use crimp ends for it all.
