As despicable a person (and politician) I find Newt Gingrich to be, I totally agree with him here. For a legitimate presidential debate on the air of a respected news media outlet, that question was completely out-of-line and extremely inappropriate.

In 1997, Newt Gingrich lead the witch hunt to IMPEACH President Clinton for having an extramarital affair with Monica Lewinksy (while Mr Pius Gingrich was similary banging a chick outside of marriage).

Newt Gingrich, so obviously from a southern state he couldn't go it alone he needed backup from the demented audience applauding him, and the minions obliged. He didn't deny it though, he knows the "trash" his ex-wife spoke was the truth.
