  • : / this is aweird song!

  • sounds like all i have to do is dream by the everly brothers

  • @SirRandolphWinston you should stop thinking so highly of yourself.

  • @SirRandolphWinston "Good artists borrow, great artists steal." - Pablo Picasso

  • @SirRandolphWinston The singer, Bradford Cox, has mentioned that he is purposefully imitating the Everly Brothers in this song in particular, as well having the rest of the band blend together different styles from different periods (in Deerhunter's own unique way) to evoke nostalgia for music and emotions that music once had in general.

  • high music

  • @SirRandolphWinston okay cool. Thanks, and just to prove that "hipster" as you call it can be original and intelligent music, check out Dirty Projectors, grizzly bear or animal collective.

  • @iwazused well i'd suggest you listen to the original songs and the original artists back in the 50s 60s and early 70s that inspired this kind of music, rather than just listening to poor imitations because it is cool at some underground bar to tell a girl I listen to Deer Hunter - or some other obscure underground band that lacks any imagination....so that is what i'd suggest ;) Go get some pink floyd, Beatles, or even radiohead Ok Computer.

  • @SirRandolphWinston you see we are open minded people, what would you suggest i listen to?
