Theres nothing heavyduty about this dryer as its put together rather cheap. They don't tell you when you buy them that you have to have it greased every 18 to 24 months or you will burn the bearing out of the back of the drum and take out the heating element.

  • Thanks for the vid very helpful gave me more confidence in doing it myself changed belt and upper felt while I was at it... yes no more damaged clothes ;)

  • @98neonvegeta I do alot of repair videos on everything. I hate paying someone to do it for me

  • I have a similar model that turns itself off after about 30 seconds. Any pointers as to why it may be doing so? I have done all of the basic stuff, cleaned out a bunch of dryer sheets and tons of lint.....I cleaned the sensor bars that holds the lint trap in also...I am thinking a sensor?

  • @1buckdharma I think your right. I think they have three shut off sensors on them. Make sure to check the pipe from the link trap to the outside of the house

  • Thank you for the information. You have given me the knowledge to fix-it-myself. Heck it's very much worth a try. Awesome degree of empowerment.

  • @Nomad1055 No problem my friend. Thats what my channels all about. Doing it your self and saving money. Check out some of my other videos ~S~

  • Damn! When I took my dryer apart the belt tension wheel fell off the motor before I had a chance to see how it was originally on. So...I put it on as I had figured and with your help it was confirmed that I did it the right way. Thanks Shawn, your videos are GREAT!
