Feel lucky you landed in Winnemucca. Lost an engine over Lovelock. Lovelock has 2 beautiful runways and an okay pilot's lounge but after landing I think the friend that drove out from Reno to pick us up put it best, "I was worried you guys had landed out in the desert somewhere when you called until you said you landed at an airport. Now I see you landed out in the desert somewhere." It could have been worse, a local hotel would have came and got us. They do have ultra cheap fuel though.

I've done that a few times .. not snow though ... it rained ... for 3 days. Lucky I pack my sleeping bag on long trips. The waiting is always the long part but you get there in the end ... Mission first safety always.
