20,000 People and Zack de la Rocha March Against Arpaio

On January 16 the masses gathered in Phoenix to march for human rights and demand action from the Obama administration to stop the abuses by Sheriff Joe Arpaio . Being there you can feel a real sense that the momentum towards change is getting stronger and this video is just a small peek into the massive movement happening against Arpaio. Heavy on poetic aesthetic and light on news info., so if you need to get educated on the matter I suggest... http://www.phoenixnewtimes.com/arpaio
http://blogs.phoenixnewtimes.com/bastard/
and info. on the movement is here...
http://puenteaz.org/
and of course mas to come on my end soon, but until then Zack's palabras will do just fine for now. P@z.

  • @dasurass so fact filled and graceful, your pontifications make you queen of the ball, your cutting edge wit and eye for detail. Cant wait for your next post

  • @dasurass "shit rolls down hill" far be it from me to disgrace the queens ENGLISH.

  • my family was in texas before manifest destiny, and i guess that makes us indigenous to this country if you want to get technical about it. this is not about laws being broken, this is about politicians looking for someone to blame. SHIT ROLES DOWN HILL

  • Ya basta!

  • The US and any other country should have the right to deport all illegal immigrants to their country of origin, without appeal, and at the expense of the illegal immigrant. Human rights are fast becoming an excuse for not obeying laws, and if this continues, proper human rights for law abiding citizens will gradually be eroded and we will all be at risk

  • enough of discrimination, enough of hate, enough of power, enough of bulshit , FALL THE BORDERS!!! it is the same sun that lights the diferent countries, who gives the right to who to decide where to live and why, THOSE ARE FACTS not personal opinion, mother earth never gave us laws of discrimination neither gave us power over other people, that is the humanbeing who do that!!!

  • SI SE PUEDE!
