TAX DAY TEA PARTY 2010

On Thursday, April 15, Tea Partiers from around the country gathered in the nation's capital to protest what they percieved to be egregious increases in taxation under the Obama administration, despite taxes having actually been lowered for 98% of working Americans (http://bit.ly/cyWy8T).

The usual anti-science and nativist rhetoric, and praise of Fox News personalities, ensued.

@DragonFly122 Becasue George Bush never had a plan on fixing the economy. He was responsible for 42% (probably even a larger percentage back in 2010) of our National debt but never did anything about it. Now that Obama is faced with this huge issue, people are calling him a socialist tyrannical dictator for raising the tax rate 3% for the wealthy. When all he is trying to do is fix Bush's mistakes!
