  • Did the B-52's credit Yoko on the LP? This is a great upload. Never knew they recorded this track.

  • @theLaNDoftheLOOPS Yes, on the label. Lyrics by Yoko Ono, published by Ono Music.

  • OMG! Awesome to the extreme!!!

  • @727JeffN Actually they did credit her but they were honoring her, the song is not really Yoko's and only has the same name, They only used the title, it is a completely different song. That Bit$@ Yoko sued them for money and residuals, the b's balked, thus the song was taken off the album after the first copies were printed. They had Moon 83 already done so they threw that on the album in place of this song.

  • All I have to say is that this is my favorite B-52's album and a lot of people that claim to be big B-52 fans have never even heard of it! Highly underated masterpiece!

  • I'd forgotten about Yoko's 'version' of this song. This is classic B-52's wacky brilliance!

I had no idea that is is removed from current copies of the CD. That is shameful.

Glad I have the original LP.

  • @727JeffN Yea, this is where they got themselves in a little trouble. They credited her as an honor, a bit of a joke, since there are no other words to the song other than the title. You will also notice that the boarder around the cover picture on the album was changed. Not sure why this was done but the original has a bit of a jagged edge which was later removed. Its sad that i know these things lol

  • @rcopa99 intersting i did not know that i have one of the first copies even though in UK, shot song though, so balls to her idiot that Yoko was

  • It's weird that Yoko Ono wanted this pulled, because when John Lennon heard "Rock Lobster" for the first time, he said Yoko could sing like that.

  • This may be the best B-52's song ever. All it has in common with Yoko's song is that it uses the words "Don't Worry" in it. But since she sued, it's gone. I'm glad I still have my original vinyl.

  • Aaaah, bloody ono!

  • The B's "made" this song theirs. Not much resemblance to Yoko's. Their ain't no justice I tells ya!

  • didnt like it at first but now i cant stop listening to it!! love the B52s!
