I have always enjoyed the wonderful harmonies and full sound of "The Christies" going back to when they first got together. I even enjoy the traditional melody.

My only "crab" is the Christian appropriation of the traditional mid-winter celebrations to their ends. The Winter Solstice (northern perspective) is a fine time to party - not much else to do a that time of year. It was cause for celebration well before the "current era".

Good music anyway!
