I like it slower for expressivemess apart from questions of ease or difficulty, and ritards at cadences. Work on loud-soft dynamics subordinating accompaniment and adjusting beat and connecting notes.

well, there is no replacing the sound of real strings if you ask me.

it depends on what you're playing. It's okay for ragtime, but i still prefer perfect harmony. Try tuning a piano once. Once you develop your ear, intonacity offends your senses.
