I was surprised to see who the composer was when I looked the song up on Allmusic: none other than Nile Rodgers. An interesting funk-guitar-hero fusion.

Here's the list of singers I have for this video. Does anyone have any additions?
0:44 Phil Alvin (also seems to be the main singer mixed in with many of the "singers" that follow)
0:53 Unidentified two women
1:00 Gerry Beckley
1:20 Unidentified two women/one man (Bull from Night Court maybe?)
1:34 Unidentified (she must have been famous then, because she sure can't sing)
1:43 Unidentified man, looks/sounds familiar
1:50 Unidentified (comedian playing Hasidic Jew) with Cheech Marin

His solo is still utter genious, no matter what you surround him with

Nice to see Gerry Beckley (1:00) from "America" in this video as well.

Donny Osmond: "Well, I used to sing with my brothers & I sang with this chick named Marie one time." LOL

Always da MAN!

There is some next level sheet going on with Jeff. He's one of most unique musicians of the era. (so is Slash. Also a next level master )

Wow, Donny looks hot in this video. :)
How addicting is this guitar solo? WOW!

long long ago I used to think Eddie Van Halen's playing was the dog's bol*ocks ... I still do ... but it doesn't sit anywhere near Jeff Beck - And Im not talking about just speed or volume but class and originality and Im lost for words
