*UPDATE*--------as of wed, OCTOBER,14 2009......the Del Sol is still in the shop. Had to go to court with the Mechanic. Should be out shortly.

how did the replacement go? do it yourself?

I just dropped off today........new bushings, New Exedy Clutch Kit, new Tranny, new rack and pinion, new tie rod ends, new Tein struts/shocks, lowering coilovers, new HID's, New Fogs, All Paint and Body, Cant Wait for it. Videos will be posted when it gets outta the shop......

tein struts? what type? why would u get tein anything and then some no name coilovers?

you just contradicted your previous comment but, ok. I just got to drive the new vette and it handles like shit(leaf springs). The rx7 you have is a RWD but is a lot lighter than Most american cars.

My question is with the knowlage of how both the cars handle why would you leave such an ignorant comment That displayed a lack of knowlage about RWD

u picked the wronge guy to try and proove a point to.... i own a 88 rx7 turbo2 convertible and i just got a audi a4..... my rx7 has track suspension on it, mainly a drift suspension (powered by max) and the rx7 handles like no american car u can find on the road as of now... well mabe not as good as the new corvette but yeah i know the difference of a fwd car and rwd!? theres a reason why almost every motorsport is propelled through corners with a RWD,MR,RR or AWD setup

have you ever driven a Camaro? You just have to know the difference in the way a FWD and RWD go through corners. I own a 92 Camaro 350 TPI and a 97 Eclipse GSX and I like the way the camaro handles better, its just a point of view. When they look like they handle sloppy its the driver not the car. people drive those like they have FWD. Its not gonig to be as nimble as a Civic or Integra but it also has more weight than the Hondas.
