He did 183 and ended up with 421, respectful but not gold medal performance. Surpisingly he struggled with the 225, but did the 238 with ease, so may be some issues about consistency. However, he looked to be capable of doing more than the 183, possibley 187 and more than the 238, possible 242. His biggest challenge is to remain under 105 KG, as he looked to me initially as 115 KG. I am surpised he was under 105, but given his body type and his big lifts, he will struggle to remain under 105.

Appearantly he has been trying to break the 105 KG clean & jerk record for the past two years, he attempted a close 238 in 2009. My understanding this Russian (Armenian by heritage) is not a good snatcher, snatching in the high 170's. But going from Armenia to Russia, will improve his snatch ability as the Russian are the best snatchers. I don't like it at all, as I am Khadjimourat fan and I thought, he set himself well for 2012, only to see this guying poping from nowhere. 238 KG looked easy
