@Musicsportsgirl A "Strad" is a string instrument made my Antonio Stradivari--an Italian violin maker from the 1700s. All of his instruments are beautifully made--and only the pros play Strads because those instruments are so sought-after and expensive. Basically, Webber's Strad is just an incredible cello; because it's so well-made, the instrument won't limit his abilities at all (whereas a cheaply made cello might squeak on certain notes or something like that). Hello from 2 yrs later btw.

Seems a little hard to be a class II

I have no idea what anyone is taking about. He can play the cello.
I have played the piano for many years and "hours". Spent all my time to be "Perfect"
he is as close to "Perfect" as you can get. (I know ).

I still dont believe his ricochet bowing.....

If he had played this piece any faster his cello would have caught fire. I guess he was running overtime and had a train to catch.

WOW. my teacher has me playing this and i cant stand it. all the harmonics are killing me...someday...

I'm learning to play this, but could never play it so well or so fast. It's also one of those pieces that's not that hard once you start playing it, and know it, but at first it is quite hard. It's also quite complicated. Well done him!
the "Lloyd Webbers" are very talented! lol
