When Millennium Force opened in 2000, it was the highest fastest coaster in the world. Standing 310ft high and reaching speeds of 93mph. The ride actually enters its brake run at the end of the coaster at 65mph which is faster than many coasters top speed !! Millennium Force broke 10 world records when it first opened, and even though some of these have now been broken again (by Cedar Point) Millennium Force is still regarded as the greatest steel rollercoaster in the world by many people.
