Ben was my friend, and he never killed any babies. He was a good soldier, and a better person. Soldiers dont have the luxury of choosing which war they fight, only to go when asked by their country. He didn't lose his life, he gave it. And his wonderful wife that you see took her own life after she found out that Ben was gone. So before you say that useless rhetoric, that doesnt apply to this great soldier, stop and think that this is not a movie, this man actually lived, and he actually died.

I wonder, was it worth dieing for? I have looked at American News and the only thing they report about is how every country in the world will attack US, and there for every american poor boy must stand up for their country.

the main problem is he did not die for personal freedom or any other thing worth diing... he just died in a fucked up war. i am a soldier myself so i understand what he did this for... bless him
