Golden Sun: Hacking, Kraden Fights

A quick test of importing new sprites into the game, Kraden's battle sprites WERE NOT originally in The Lost Age's data.

This scene in the game always bugged me since Kraden acts as though he was involved in the fight when he really wasn't, so I thought it would be a good place to do this.

I'm developing a Golden Sun: The Lost Age editor, consider this video as proof of concept for sprite replacing, which I hope to make a feature of the editor down the road.

Is there an editor for the first golden sun?

@Lucario1423 Yes, the editor is compatible with the first game for the most part. It doesn't work on enemies since their data is formatted differently, but that will be fixed in the next release.

but how do we get kraden to fight?

By conforming a sprite sheet of him to Golden Sun's palette, programming a tool to compress it into the proper format, copying the output from that program into the game, and repointing someone else's sprites to newly imported data.

It's a complex procedure, I don't think a video would cover it. There aren't any existing tools to do it either, I had to create my own.

Kraden is so epic, he doesn't even need to move. He simply jumps toward his enemies, and they die.
