@jimmyd696969 They can certainly do that, it's in the rules. NFHS (high school basketball rules) Rule 2, Section 5, Article 4: "The referee may declare the game a forfeit when conditions warrant." Rule 10, Section 5, Penalty Note: "Ejected adult bench personnel shall leave the vicinity (out of sight and sound) of the playing area immediately...Failure to comply with the rules of ejection may result in the game being forfeited."

I don't blame the coach how can you call an intentional foul on that play. The kid tried to make a play on the ball. The ref that step in between the kids did the right thing. The kids were playing hard and got a little emotional that is what is supposed to happen it's called competing. It should have been a foul on 22, take the ball out and lets play. By calling an intentional there the ref caused all the problems. Again I don't blame the coach. That was not intentional just a foul.

Gotta Love the fans in the background who are shouting for a tech to be called on the foul. Whether it's a technical foul or an intentional foul the result is till 2 shots plus the ball for throw-in therefore why exactly are they arguing??
