Her heart stopped two more times.(SOT: DR. KEVIN EGGLESTON/CAMC)SHE HAD NO NEUROLOGICAL FUNCTION. Doctors told family members that Thomas had a less than ten percent chance of survival. If your heart stops your brain still functions for a period of time even without brain wave detection so technically you would not be dead, if you remain in that state for a specific time then your brain completely dies because lack of blood flow .........and you're dead.
