Whoa, it's possible to make an echo effect of the NES? Didn't even have a clue...

There's no 'on-board' effects available for anything like echo/ reverb so to speak, but it is achieved on the NES through a couple means. You can copy the part from one square wave channel, put it in the second channel as well, but have it be slightly behind in time as well as a bit softer. This is what DuckTales does. Or you can cram echos into one channel by playing around with volume leaps and/ or taking notes that happened previously and putting them after the most recent note.
