poem wot i wrote today. this is the text:

weird kids dream of eletronics buzzing
they all wake up to the morning
play video games
get a feel for the day
they live or die skateboarding

weird kids all grow up confused
watch tv sip on gin and juice
exploring forests making friends
tucked away in caves at the day's end
consume or you yourself will be consumed

weird kids gather around to feel better
compose letters of comfort to complete strangers
asymmetrical hair
hints of despair
a few of them will be lost and gone within the hour

weird kids tell stories about home

weird kids make it up as they go

This is really great. How do you come up with like notes or chords or something for it? Did it just happen or did you have it in mind when you wrote it?

@CleverestWitch2188 i had the chord structure in mind. it's very basic and it fit the vocal melody ive had stuck in my head the last few days. i had the title stuck in my head too so i sat down and wrote words. it took like 15 minutes... i had to changed the rhythm a little bit to fit what i wrote, and i changed the key for this recording. now you know!
