My 2000 CR-V with a WeaponR Dragon Intake. Everything else is stock. The initial drive-by is just a normal take off, maxing at ~3000 rpm. The drive-by at 1 minute is a steady 3500 rpm drive by, and the one at 2 minutes is a hard acceleration run.

  • size of rims?

  • @Dylman55 sorry for the delay, I didn't get the email. They are 18". Moda MD2's

  • hey did the check engen light turn on wen u installed it?

  • @915cesarvargas No, luckily I didn't run into any problems. Took about an hour to get the old intake off and put the new one on. Then I was good to go.

  • oh cool yeah i got the same one and for the first 2 day that check engine light went on but i think because my AC belt tore off that same day ! now that i replaced it when off thanx anyway for replying!!! did u every put any other aftermarket part or ur CRV that u would recomend??

  • @915cesarvargas I put on Intrax lowering springs and Koni adjustable shocks. They made an enormous difference in the overall feel of the car. I know it sounds weird but it made it handle better than some of my friends normal cars. In a steady corner anyways. The slalom movements are still pretty scary. As you can see in the video I put 18" rims on as well and they helped further the cornering confidence. It's no Lotus obviously but it makes it drive infinitely better.

  • @gjschmidt to be honest, I got about 2 mpg better after I put it on. Mine is a 5 speed. Maybe having auto makes a difference?

  • @pacoseventeen Sweet man, thanks!

Just went and ordered this bad puppy, and I can't wait for it to show up now! :P

...Did you notice a sizable difference in gas mileage? I've read a few reviews saying some people expected it to drop the mpg, while others said it wasn't too big of a difference.

  • @gjschmidt. Yeah, I still like it a lot. I kept the stock filter with mine. Got an extra one for $30 or so to make cleaning easier. No problems with the install. Took about an hour. Old stuff came out pretty easy and the weapon r slides right in.

  • Hey, awesome vid!

I'm considering getting one for my 2000 CRV. Are you still satisified with it? Also, did you keep the filter as the stock Weapon-R, or did you swap it out with another? Any problems with install?

Feel free to message me back. :)

And thanks for posting the vid!
