Runyon Canyon Dog Hike, and Fall! Ouchy.

It was a great day after a series of back to back to back storms in LA (super rare), so the sky was so clear, and the landscape was beautiful...a perfect day for a hike up in the Hollywood Hills. My butt still hurts, but it was my camera's ill fate that disturbs me so :( It seems to be working, but it was brand-spanking new, and it suffered some intense dents and scrapes. Boo hoo hooooo!!

What a cool hike it looks soo beautiful there, I love all the scenery. Although I am very very sorry you fell and hurt yourself and your camera. =(

Sorry about your accident. I know how easy it can be to lose your footing on a trail. Well... now you have a good excuse to get a new camera. Maybe one of those Flip cameras with HD. I sure wish I could afford one but I just spent $93 on a new power supply for my computer so I can power the new CPU that I can't afford to buy. Hope you feel better soon and your camera survives until you can replace it.

Wow - the area looks even more stunning in the video - I'm adding it to my list of "must do's" when I'm back in SoCal in a couple of years.

I'm a very overprotective dog-mom and panic when my dog has freedom to roam. In my case, with my luck, when I would have fallen, i would have landed on my poor little dog!

So sorry about your camera - so glad its working so far!
