I love how you told Cletus to come and the next time you panned your camera over to him he was right in front of you. CUTE!

do you ever have a problem with them digging at or tearing the liner? i have considered this idea but was worried about them making it leak

This is so great, after watching all the videos I decided to build my own pond in my basement. I only have a few turtles living in it right now, but I am planning on getting more soon. I have a two level design in mine, so I can keep smaller turtles in a much shallower area, and I have a bigger area with plenty of swimming room for the adults.I'd love to see an update!

I just found a baby RES (about 1 inch)
he was flipped over and there was no water sources in sight. normally i just set them free but i brought him home.
I have all the supplies needed but i was wondering if they need dechlorinated water or not...
and also how can i get him to eat the floating pellets?

I'm on a well ( well water ).......when I was a kid I was on "city water" and I kept lots of baby turtles...........no problems.
When they are hungry......they will eat the pellets......baby water turtles will readily feed on pellets.

I live in Florida we have turtles in back yard canal. My question is dont some of your turtles bite the others for example the soft shells bite the others? We have soft shells in area they seem to dominate the sliders as far as basking shore areas ,etc Great looking pond

Softies can be nippy yes, but I have not had the problems with them........it's because they have so much room. I do have to keep an eye on my snappers.......I usually release the snappers once they start looking at the other turtles "as food"...;)
