  • @8bigtubes. Sorry, I have never used the footswitch. I switch the channels via an Engl midi switch and that works fine.

  • For clean sounds the guitar was a Jackson Dinky DK2, Duncan single coil.

For OD sounds the guitar was a Jackson Dinky DK2T with a Bill Lawrence L500-XL in bridge position.

The Shure SM57 on Axis, was placed very close to the middle of the V30. Maybe the spot was too much for the mic. On the original record file clipping was not so extrem, like after the upload. Frome there listen more to the right channel!!!!

  • mic clipping a lot but thanks!

  • @81giorikas

The audio interface has shown no clipping.

Or what do you mean with mic clipping.

  • @Neiretha i always say that, but i kinda like this one, kinda gives it a eerie feel :D

  • What a bad demo. :(

  • @Linqua2112 i can do djent, but thanks

  • @Schpudd actually, generally speaking, djent is less gainy than youd immediately think. there is also ALOT less bass as well.

  • I thought I was going to killing mysel after hearing that arpeggio for over 4 mins! :S

    Nice vid, though.

  • I think its your SM57 diaphragm that is distorting, not the microphone preamp itself. But still quite a decent demo. The reverb sounds quite tasteful. The clean channel seems like it can be too quiet, or maybe I'm just missing something with your settings.

    Interesting demo anyway...

  • @MrGuitarMadness95 djent = gain, lots of low end, gated sound and TECHNIQUE. really... technique

  • How good is this amp at the Low-end fact? I want it to play some Low Tuning chunky tones and Djent. Will it djent?

  • @bioelektrik the audios definitely clipping :p or ur getting interference

  • iN SOME WAYS AN OK DEMO. However, not as thought out as it could have been and the feature set on this amp could have been demonstrated better... Pperhaps the most unique feature of a contemporary production amp, the watts control, is supposed to get power amp distortion at lower SPL's; however, I never really saw much demonstration of the interaction of this with the master volumes as well as pre amp gains... shame :( and yeah, the mic being overpowered was also a shame :(
