eventhough animal tests are needed for the advancement of medicine, the use of animal testing for stuff like cosmetics and food is completely unnecessary.

The more you think of it, the more these laboratories seem like organizations for wannabe serial killers. Sort of like corporate sponsored animal torture. It really does remind me of the holocaust, because a lot of "valuable scientific knowledge" was obtained in experiments, but from an ethical standpoint they were abominable.

Humans don't do cruel things like this, monsters do. Animal testing is disgusting in general, but some of the things they seem to do in those videos are just really over the edge, I bet they could have done it in a more humane way and some of it was probably not even necesarry. People who do those kind of things to animals (or humans) are not any better than Mengele etc. and they lack empathy and sympathy and are sick fucks. : |

I love SP, and animals are great and all, but a lot of this is taken out of context. Take all the wolf shooting and death towards the end - the wolf population in Yellowstone had gotten out of control BECAUSE we were (unnaturally) protecting them. Not only would this lead to their own slow demise through starvation, but it was wreaking havoc on the rest of the ecosystem. So we went in and neutralized them. Meh.
