Well, i guess it all depends on WHAT kinda opinion you wanna express...

The Communist Party has not changed. They have not become more lenient. The people have just become more indoctrinated... the cultural revolution made them scared.

As for the young people they have likewise been educated with the party ideology. They don't get persecuted cause they know how they have to behave... and so out of fear they likewise don't dare to speak up against the injustice happening in today's China.
