Break out the Tactical Solutions .22s and do some RunNGunning, Nutnfancy style... in a blizzard. Welcome to the "Snowblind Shoot" with Cr0cket20, Keith (CEO from TacSol), and myself. To say the conditions got tough is an understatement; mental toughness really helps as the temps plummet and the winds howl at 20+mph. This Snowblind course consisted of many www.shopactiontarget.com Evil Roy plates, a plate rack, and Hostage Target shot from various stages, out to 75 yds. But the bad weather provides an outstanding testing environment for the Tactical Solutions guns: a TNP Ruger 22/45 with Pac-Lite, Buckmark with Trail-Lite, Ruger 10/22 with X-Ring barrel, an X-Ring 10/22, a TSG-22 on various Glock 17 frames, and the AR-22 LT. For cross reference, the Smith and Wesson 15-22 also takes a few runs with me to see how it does as well. Most guns function well but jams happened. Keep in mind this is the world of rimfire: it's rarely 100% and if you demand that, then you need to upgrade and pay the price of centerfire. Was it fun? Not really. It's mostly a tough and grinding shoot where I do my best to get these guns tested under the harsh realities of snowy, cold weather. Unless you've shot this way (most have not and never will), please make any criticisms soft...it's tougher than it looks, at least if you want to hit those targets. Add in time constraints that we're dealing with and the amount of guns that needed running and the whole affair was tough to pull off. Sorry for the wind noise beforehand...but in a way I like it as muting it would hide the conditions we were facing. Thanks to these guys who toughed it out and help me make "Snowblind" and the Tactical Solutions visit a reality. /////////////// Use discount code "nutnfancy" at www.tacticalsol.com for 15 percent off all non-serialized merchandise, 40 off the apparel! • Does Nutn recommend chocolate covered almonds for all tactical situations?

  • @pathyskeeter LOL you can bet he does. He's one of the few guys I know who is a true chocolate hound. =) -- Veri

  • Nice to see you wearing TAG Nut'n. That's the carrier I have been rolling around in for the past few years. 7 different AOR's. It's good.

  • @recon501 It IS good...I have become a big TAG fan in using their gear AND seeing how they lowered their prices in 2010. I did give them some heat on their prices in SHOT 2010. Now their stuff rocks for value, 100% US too.

  • With weather like that...where's the I wish it would "Suck More" nametag? LOL! The phrase we used was "Embrace the Suck" ..another possible nametag! :)

  • @tacticalsheepdog There is zero use for it unless you want a compensator which I think only adds to the "second type of cool". (if you have a suppresor do it)

  • That stock on the 10 22 looks like the bomb, is it a houge stock?

  • Hogue stock on the ruger 1022 with the ts bull barrel?

  • i'm diggin' the way the holster was positioned, sort-of calls for a "Wild West" style draw technique. Very cool video, very entertaining.

  • @benjamin22cal That gun was on loan from impact guns. Most highend guns are on loan from impact or friends.

  • @redheadedduckhunter you say that and just another day he was shooting a carbon fiber barreled rifle in like 223wssm?

  • @benjamin22cal Well yeah but it is more expensive than 22 and he would have to buy another rifle. Also 17hmr is not as readily available as 22.

  • @redheadedduckhunter thats funny how he shoots 9 m and .223 all the time?

  • @benjamin22cal too expensive to shoot
