Tokyo Left Behind Parents Demo (Jan.16th)

A group of left behind parents met in Tokyo on a cold winter day to protest and speak about child abduction and the need for Japan to change it's outdated Family Law. Parents want more access to their children. Parents want joint custody like all of the other G-7 countries have. Children have the right to see and love both parents. Under Japanese law only one parent has custody after divorce and the other parent loses custody and contact with the child. The children are the foundation of the future.
