Believe it or not, the government can cover us all more efficiently and cost effectively too. Right now 20 -30 cents of every healthcare dollar goes to the bureaucracy, paperwork and profits of the HMOs. Medicare holds overhead to 3 percent. Let's draw everyone in under the Medicare umbrella--share risk and cost and save billions of dollars. We'll save many lives and be able to afford a liver transplant for Jim, for railgeek404, and aging hippies everywhere.

Let's hit the streets for HR 676!
