  • That is exactly where I want to see it from next time. We've been out near there, but not close enough. Traffic is the crazy part. I dread driving back to Orlando on the bee-line after a launch.

I want my daughter to hear and feel that rumble. It amazes me and just puts chills down my spine. Perhaps the next launch we can make it to that spot. Thanks for all the comments. I do think we are so lucky to have this in our backyard. I know we'll move away from Florida and I will miss it.

  • I live in nebraska. Nothing special happens here.

that would be sooooo cool to see

  • wow, i wish i could see the space shuttle lauch from my house...

    Too bad i live texas

  • I took my 10 yr old nephew to see this launch. We were like 10 miles away from the launch. It was really cool to experience that with him. I remember my first trip down to see one go off, and have been hooked ever since.

  • i saw it launch from across the river where kennedy space center is, and it was close u could hear the windows and the whole ground shake as the bright orange light blinds you as you see the space shuttle increasing distance from you, leaving a huge trial of smoke....yea.

  • Thats amazing... My dad and I track the ISS every night and the following night, June 1st, we saw the ISS fly over our home in NY and just a couple of minutes after we could see the shuttle tracking it own. Just awesome to see a launch that happened a day prior that you saw on television and then you see the shuttle fly right over your home... truly amazing and nice footage of the launch. Thanks for the post!!

  • It's cool to see it from a distance like that. NASA videos always zoom way in, so you don't really get the big picture. Great video!

  • you lucky people :)

one day i'll come to Florida to see Shuttle launch :)

  • I saw it today OMG!! What a view I'm going t the next one.
