http://FreeHerbCourse.com This simple recipe can be made with herbs you already have in your kitchen. Garlic, ginger, cayenne, and lemon juice. It has a watery consistency, but great to take lots of if you are sick or are feeling like you have something coming on.

  • This works great if you heat up the liquids first and let the garlic/ginger sit in the warm liquid, when it cools to room temp strain out the garlic & ginger peices; I use a syrup made from rose-hips for colds and it zaps it out of you. 2 T rose hips, 1pint water, boil 10-15 minutes until hips split and "give it up", cool & strain. Either take 1 tsp straight (great for sore throats) or put it in a cup of hot water like tea, sweetening is fine. Its a tad bitter on its own.

  • How much should be taken, and how often. Made my first batch today. It smells SO good.

  • This is a good thing but I'd juice this mixture.I have friends that have this for 6 months in the refrigerator.

  • How long will that syrup last?? coz we want it to put into bottle and market it so i want to know the expiration of it.. tnx a lot :)

  • Is botulism a risk here due to the garlic? Or does the lemon juice increase acidity enough to prevent this?

  • This really really works and the good thing is all natural.

  • If you want to make a version that kids will take, make it with chicken broth as a base and put the garlic and ginger through a food processor to make a puree. Nix the cayenne- its not too harsh for kids. Use it to cook with before flu season starts or during the changing of the seasons. I have a weak immune system due to injuries from a car accident and used to get sick all the time. I started this three years ago and I have not been sick since. Using fresh ingredients is very important.

  • does it work cuz my mom needs a fast relif from this bad cough

  • My husband doesn't tolerate honey (kicks in as arthritis) so I'm wondering if you've any suggestions for a substitute? Thank you.
