Hey everyone, I was supposed to finish to upload this video a long time ago but I was having problems trimming it for YouTube...

Anyway, this is how it goes. This run for Megaman X, unlike my X3 one, is with 100% including Hadouken. I tried to minimize backtracking as much as I could but I was forced to do it once for Chill Penguin's Heart Tank.

This video is ALOT more impressive than my X3 video, but it is also NON-TOOL ASSISTED. This isn't a record breaking video, but it still should be entertaining.

Tasks:
-All 8 Heart Tanks
-All 4 Sub Tanks
-All 4 Light Armor upgrades
-X Buster/Hadouken only (The only time other weapons are allowed, is for retrieving items)
-Obtain Hadouken

I put these tasks here so that other people or Megaman X experts can take on these challenges themselves and see how they do. If you have a video you'd like to share please post it as a video response.

Thanks, and enjoy.

NOTE:
I removed the boss intros so that I can keep with YouTube's limitations. It should not effect the gameplay in anyway.

  • Time your movements, and you can use the Hadoken on Sigma in his second form. Wait for the right (or left) claw to go near the top, then use it.

  • @JuliantheGamer Are you basing your statement on the original game or Maverick Hunter X?

  • Did Mega Man do the Haduken at 1:13? What the hell?

  • You're telling me you didn't know Megaman X had the Hadouken? Shame on you.

  • Should we tell him that X2 had the Dragon Punch?

  • No, he'd probably wet his pants.

  • I never knew hadoken existed in this game...but I beat it anyway without it.

  • @GameDragon2k Both, actually. It has been done in both, but since the Playstation Portable version moves slower, I would have to say it's easier to nail off in the Super NES copy.

  • rolling shield is best for final sigma. good run though. i picked up a lot of great tips from watching this. like scaling the slanted rocky wall at the floating platform part of the first sigma level. And falling in front of the second spike machine in armadillos level. those things should cut off some serious time from my run.

  • it would be much easier to remove armadillos armor using spark mandrills move, then the hadouken. also rangda bangda is much quicker with the C Sting.

  • You know, to make this even more of a challenge I say you shouldn't use the Hadouken at all as well. It makes most of the boss fights a joke. I'm glad you can't really do it on Sigma's final form at least. lol

  • lol at spark mandrill's epic 2 second death

  • you know if you were a true megman pro you would do the hadouken in the air.
