Same thing happens to me, how did you fix it?

My single HD 6870 can outperform your 6950's easily...avg FPS is 88 at highest settings. new drivers

good to know...thanks for the video MATE ^^

@KiillWiithMe exactly. theres no point in 2 card set ups if you get 60fps. most monitors can't display past 60 frames anyway, and the human eye i believe can hardly tell the difference past 80 frames. i have had a single 6970 before and its plenty to provide a good experience.

just goes to show that high frames aren't what its all about like we have been led to believe by countless benchmarks.
its about smoothness and eyecandy. -that brings enjoyment. i have 1 of my xfx 6970s on ebay right now, sick of the driver support for crossfire and results like this.
1 card will give the best gaming experience. who needs 1000 fps if it looks / runs like shit? lol.
give me 1 card and 60 fps and that's all i need.
Maybe at 800x600 resolution. :D

True, I noticed this first on my GTX 275. Actually I could swear this was fixed at some point in Nvidia drivers, but Radeons still have the issue to this day. Usually the games that behave badly even with a single gpu also have the most evident CF/SLI microstutter.
