  • on cylinder # 4 how would i unclip the coil? i have a lot of hoses in the way i do not want to remove..

  • What kind of vehicle are you working on, year, make model, engine?

  • @canobd2 i have a 1997 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer 5.4L

  • You can unclip the coil connecter by pressing in the tab and pulling off the connecter, as far as removing the #4 coil it can be done without removing any hoses (it helps if you have small hands).

  • how do u know or check the coil when its bad

  • The best thing to do is get a service manual for your vehicle and it will break down which wires to check and the test procedure.

Im like everyone else thats not a mechanic and was afraid i screw something up, but with your help/video, i did this in approx 15 minutes, and thats only because i was taking my time trying not to drop the bolt and whatnot! THANK YOU!
