This is the first of three segments of the prologue level for Action 52 Revisited. This first segment is simple with a few enemies, allowing players to explore the controls and get a grip on the gameplay. The level design is based loosely of Level 1 from Cheetahmen II. The details of the power up's that Apollo collects will be disclosed in part 2.

ACTION 52/CHEETAHMEN II CRITIQUE and FIXES
CHEETAHMEN PROLOGUE
1 - Save-game technology has been integrated into the game to promote replay. The player can load, check stats, copy data, or erase games from this menu.
2 - Action 52 presented three different Cheetahmen stories: The formation of the Cheetahmen based on Book 1 of the comics, a Game Master who is pulled into a television by an arm based on playing A52, and the wacky story where the same Game Master actually becomes each of the three Cheetahmen based on the A52 instruction manual. The prologue will be based loosely on the comics; however the Game Master himself will play a role in A52R later on.
3 - The game fades in at a Baobab Tree grove in Kenya. Apollo receives a secret distress call from the mayor of a suburban city pleeding for help against invading dragons (Fire Breathers). A new character dubbed Agent-383 gives Apollo secret instructions before the first segment of the prologue level kicks off.
CHEETAHMEN / FIREBREATHERS PROLOGUE LEVEL (SEGMENT 1/3)
1 - The game kicks off as a platformer with Apollo fighting his way against a race of dragon beetles and small fire breathing dragons. A Cheetahmen remix by KJHMAGIC plays. This segment emulates Level 1 from Cheetahmen II.
2 - Fixed the jumping controls, revamped graphics, and added bidirectional scrolling. Brought in various elements from both A52 games.
3 - Apollo can duck and fall without dying! He can also shoot while in the air or on a ladder and can fire up to three arrows at once.
4 - The enemies' speed is slowed down. Apollo can now either shoot or stomp on these enemies. The small dragon is also given additional HP.
5 - Gameplay additions: Power-up's, items, cheetah cubs (Genesis Cheetahmen) and human prisoners are found throughout the stage with a death-checkpoint near the end of the first segment.
6 - Agent-383 is to give Apollo additional instructions once in Tank Norman (Storm Over the Desert, Norman).
