Visit: http://voltsxamps.com/ for more info. This is a portable wifi hotspot powered by a solar panel and 5 AA batteries. It automatically scans for open networks every 30 seconds and then connects to the strongest signal it finds. It then repeats that signal so you can surf the net locaally for up to about 150 feet or more. I put this in the back window of my car and leave it. No matter where I drive me and others are able to connect to it and check email, surf, etc. If you would like me to custom build one of these for you please Visit the http://voltsxamps.com/ to contact me. Thanks

  • this is genius! The only thing that would be tough is for when you drive. I wonder, is there a way that you can enhance the receiving end so it can pick up random connections from further away. Your broadcast doesn't have to be very far at all being that it would mainly be in a car.

  • @MrKillaMutha The rec. end is enhanced by the built in amplifier. It goes all the way up to 251mw which I never had to use. I am currently pulling in connections from over a mile away with it set at just 71mw. I also just finished and shipped another one of these units to another YouTuber here today;-)

  • where can I get one & how much (or are you willing to build me one?)

  • @Begbucks I have built several of them for others here on utube. please see the link in the description box for more info. You can also pm me here and I will give you my contact info if you are serious.

  • @ashtweth: Thank you for the offer that would be a great addition to this project. Please pm me or post here your ideas. I love to learn new things;-)
