Nasum - Violation/Scoop/Living Next Door To Malice medley (Cover)

Yeeaaaaa. I will admit that Nasum didn't use an HM-2, Miezsko recorded all his guitars with an old DS1 and later a Mesa Boogie V-Twin. There are a few rushed spots, mainly because no matter how fast you play it always feels like you're chasing after the tempo changes. Also I've learned that you can't get tight palm muting with an HM-2, it's just not possible.

Nonetheless, here's a cover of the first three tracks of the greatest Grind album ever recorded. R.I.P. Mieszko Talarczyk.

@akshay5591 Yeah, I don't have a V-Twin or a DS-1 to use for proper Nasum tone. I think the HM-2 is fine anyway :D

@blackpoopshadowfear Well, yeah, I'm using a BOSS HM-2 here. I'm also using it in the Rotten Sound video. I still haven't quite worked out how to get it to sound the way I want it through my amp, but I'm getting closer. It's a very hard pedal to control.

@blackpoopshadowfear I should also mention that it is a deliberately different sound. It's deliberately super distorted and filthy. Entombed, Dismember, and more recently Black Breath, Nails and Trap Them use it for a similar reason. Rotten Sound also use them. They're best when driven into a high-gain channel on a tube amp, and unfortunately it sounds terrible going through the gain channel of my solid state Randall. Going through the clean channel isn't much better, but i'm working on it.

This is such a sick cover. I have been wanting to cover scoop for a while, finding this helped me find some chord placement I was kinda confused on. Whatever the case, thanks for posting!
