Hi i have followed this exactly as done but when it comes into signing into the instance it wont accept my mail domain. Its frustrating me and i cant find any way of fixing it. Some people have said change from hsql to mysql but there must be an easier way than that? help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

WCM, or Web Content Management, is one major feature of Liferay. It can be used to create, manage, and version structured and unstructured Web content to meet your specific needs.

Hello - Instances are akin to virtual sites; distinct logical copies of Liferay from within a single physical installation. Instances enjoy a similar level of isolation as separate installations with a few caveats: by default, only the Administrator for the master Instance can install and manage plug-ins and use the Portal Admin controls. Also, Instances within a single installation all share a common database and file repository. Users and content are isolated across each Instance.

What are the benefits of running instances of Liferay? Does this have anything to with WCM?
Hi William, what version of Liferay are you running, presently?
