  • color on the three stooges looks asweome!!

  • One of the Stooge's earliest pieces really was in color.

I thought I wasn't going to like seeing the Stooges colorized, since I grew up watching them in black and white on TV in the late 50s and onward, but colorization gives them a new feel--their humor still feels contemporary, and the colorization seems to emphasize that.

  • The Three Stooges in color is terrific for Blu-Ray

  • I used to wonder how the people at Legend Films could sleep at night, spending their days destroying the classics. Then I realized the reason...MONEY. They got into this business for the money...not love or respect for the classics. The folks at Legend Films should be ashamed not only of what they're doing, but the lies they tell about WHY they're doing it.

  • The funniest Jews I have ever seen !!!

  • yeah what an improvment

  • @Bstacker1 i ment there outfits

  • at 0:20 when i saw it in B&W I imagend them as a different color

  • They could of been called the four stooges if Shemp was there back in 1934 when they first started

  • That's cool!

  • Yes they are a bit bright, but they do look like technicolor in places.

Plus if you watch the making of feature on the DVD, they talk about how the colorists went to great length to research the period. Things like what color a particular coffee tin were seriously researched.

It not the random crappy colorization process Ted Turner used in the 80s

Plus this collection features commentary by "The Film Crew" AKA MST3K alumn Mike Nelson, Kevin Murphy (Tom Servo), and Bill Corbett.

  • did you see the slap at the end? lol
