The wholesale and systematic abuse of young people in instiutions run by those who think they are above the law and god is unbelievable. I come from Ireland where this abuse is - almost legendary. Take a newly emerging republic (1920s) a people virtually cut off from the rest of the world in awe of organised religion still seething in hatred of Britain and you had a perfect breeding ground for institutional abuse. The eyes of the world are on Ireland and how she intends to resolve this scandal.

@ModraMagic I don`t think the pope has apologized for anything. He contributed to covering it up.

The Church has caused so much MISERY. The Pope continues too say sorry for this.

@rabyaashki basicly your saying the evil spread wherever there catholics invaded
with their bloody conquest to steal wealth and make anybody into their personal slavelabourers. yea, how did the catholic church rose to power huh ?
by murdering, stealing, raping, torturing, slave trading and anything else evil i suppose. it;s just sickening to me that their still not totally outlawed to begin with.
