A ban on guns would be like the prohibition in the 20s. It would just lead to them being sold illegally and more people getting killed as a result. Yea, there are horror stories about what particular individuals do with the guns that they own, but to be perfectly honest, I'm confident that more problems would be caused than solved with a ban.

He will not need to ask to be re-elected, all he needs to do is amend the Constitution so he can stay in power indefinitely with mock elections, just like his pals and mentors Mugabe, Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez. This is a slight exaggeration but the ego of these two has no bounds, they are proving it over and over, they are destroying this country and the wolrd is rewarding them for it with peace prizes for doing nothing but community orginising and being a lawyer for ACORN!
