New Jad Fire Cape Guide(NO GUTHANS)

If you're having trouble with the prayer switching at Jad, go to the Warrior's Guild(the place where you get defenders), and try getting tokens from the catapult on the second floor. To avoid being hit by the catapult and earn tokens, you have to switch between four styles of defending yourself with a special shield. This is alot like prayer switching at Jad.

Right before you get to jad, turn on auto retaliate. This will make sure that you run in the right directioin toward jad so that you are able to see his attacks. You should also turn the sound all the way up so that you can hear his magic attack. If you hear a heavy thud, that means he is using his ranged attack, though it will probably be to late to switch by the time you hear it. If you here a sound that sounds like someone has just died while using the retribution prayer(the red thing that does damage to other people), then he has just used his magic attack and you should protect from mage.

Jad's ranged attack is when he lifts his front legs up and stops down on the ground.
Jad's magic attack is when he lowers the front part of his body(kind of like when a cat is stretching) and a big meteor type thing comes out of him.

If you're thinking about doing this and wondering how long it will take, it should take about 2-3 hours using any of these methods when you have 70+ range. If you don't have that much time, don't worry! Jagex was sensible and put an option in to log out during fight caves while saving your progress. Heres how:
1. Click "log out" once.
2. A message will pop up in your chat box telling you that you will be logged out at the end of the wave, with your progress saved. BE CAREFUL!!! If you click log out again before the wave is over, you will be logged out without it saving your progress, and you will have to start all over again!
3. Once you have done this, you can log back in whenever you want. It will start you on the next wave, but with a little bit of time to prepare yourself, so make sure you remember what wave you were on, and pray accordingly!
