Foxy Lady PART 2 The Funky Monks

The Monks live at Rock in the park, Fairlands valley, Stevenage (PART 2) doing a blistering version of Jimi Hendrix's Foxy Lady featuring "Barnet" on lead guitar, a disciple of Hendrix, Barnet puts his own spin on the song by tributing Jimi at woodstock, but as this is England and not the U.S.of A. Barnet chose to start with our own national Anthem 'God save the Queen' and not the star spangled banner. It drove the crowd wild and as the Monks brought the all-day festival to a close with a great set and a red-hot finish, AND IT EVEN BROUGHT BARNET TO HIS KNEES!!! ...it left the crowd screaming for more!!! ..... a great day, a great performance. Mr.J.M.Hendrix would have been proud.
