Christians don't have an option. We must reach out and help those less fortunate than we ourselves.

  • I am the one that posted this video and it grieves me and I suspect, God, that it is being used as a means for Christians to condemn others. No one but God determines who goes to hell. Stop the bickering and stop the condemning. "They will know we are Christians by our love," not by how smart we think we are or how holy or whether we pray the Rosary or not. There isn't a nickle's difference between the best of us and the worst of us. We are all saved by the grace of God. Father Ed+

  • @edjansenosb Apparently you don't understand the true meaning of this passage. This passage is misunderstood by so many people. If you read it in context you'll see that the judgement has already taken place and the "brothers" Christ is referring to are believers. This passage is not about feeding and helping the poor.

  • @rorshakks If you think your interpretation of this simple message is going to make it before God Almighty, I encourage you to reconsider. Look at all the Scriptures in light of this one. Both Old and New Testament speak of helping the poor. But more importantly, ask yourself this question: "If Jesus were walking the face of the Earth today, where would I find him and what would he be doing?" If that question doesn't point you to caring for the poor, you're on your own pal. Please reconsider.

  • You have to decide, In that most adult Catholics go to hell.(ex cathedra) I focus on wayward alleged Catholics. Real Catholics KNOW the situation they are in and are on their own. Most "New Order" "catholics" know NOTHING, we have the best chance of converting them to the true faith, thus saving a soul. Our "duty" is to spread the True faith, THAT is the best thing to do for anyone. What say you?

  • Jesus prayed: "I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you." John 17:20b Love in Christ, Father Ed Jansen+

  • @christianterrorsquad I pray you do eventually accept that Christ did save the world - those that are His. It was great dialoguing with you and I will pray for you.

  • @christianterrorsquad So you follow Christ but not the book where we find out about him? Seems counterintuitive.

  • @christianterrorsquad You're absolutely right. Matthew 6:5 "And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full".

  • @christianterrorsquad Well then those Christians who claim to be perfect, I personally don't know any who make this claim, are very wrong. Positionally, because of Christ's work, we who believe, are sinless because God looks at Christ's vicarious righteousness, but in practice, this side of eternity, we still sin. Simul justis et peccator (simultaneously righteous and sinner).

  • @christianterrorsquad continued.. These terms are ways that humanity can understand this ultimate separation from God.

  • @christianterrorsquad That's not necessarily true. Many Arabs are Christians. People in India and Pakistan are Christians. We're having this dialogue because we want to talk about it. And since everyone cannot be right (about their holy book) does this preclude some one from being right? I don't think so. Don't get hung on the "lake of fire" concept. It's also called "outer darkness", which would conflict with the light from a fire, right? continued...

  • @christianterrorsquad Well then I would say your Hell is your own creation and not biblical and therefore you're not a follower of Christ. He spoke of it more than anyone else. The crimes we commit are against a holy God who cannot be in the presence of sin and therefore has to deal with it how He sees fitting. I can't really say about those who haven't heard of Jesus - I trust God is fair, even though my sinful nature often thinks He isn't. It's a struggle.

  • @rorshakks avoid any further communication. oh fear not i did ! hes history

  • @christianterrorsquad Well I don't think the bethren mean that burning in hell is love. They should be saying if you don't repent and believe, then yes, you stand the chance of ending up in hell, as ghastly as that sounds. That's the love part. You think I like saying this? Why would anyone like saying that someone is going to hell? But it's the truth. We can't pick and choose which parts we like and dislike.
