You criticize others on not knowing about music yet all you really addressed was that there were lyrics. if both songs are broken down the tempo and chord progressions are about identical. that makes up the whole rhythmic portion of the song, as well as the similar chorus melodies. although i do agree that coldplay should get a percent for making lyrics. i also dont know what other "bits" of viva la vida you are referring to the song really sticks to one progression the whole way through
